  The dress is made with stretchy material. It is also designed with an adjustable waist and under bust that you can tighten from the back to increase the definition and support at the waist and bust.

We have chosen to use recycled fabric for this design because recycled ITY is a slinky stretch jersey that has great drape as well as working like shapewear in areas that want support such as at the bust.

The fabric is double-layered for a heavier feel and to ensure the garment is opaque. This fabric has good hold and drape and is a Global Recycle Standard-certified fabric.

It is a low-maintenance fabric. It maintains its' stretch wash after wash. It doesn't crease easily. You won't need to iron or steam these garments as the fabric holds its resistance to wrinkling. We recommend hanging it to dry rather than using machines. Please be careful when wearing bags or accessories that could catch the fabric or cause pilling.

The Melody Dress is made ethically by our expert sewing machinists, who are passionate about creating high quality clothing that will last.

Fabric: Global Recycled Standard certified fabric. Milled and dyed in the UK. The fabric mill is located within an hour of our garment makers, creating a localised supply chain through the production process.

People: the garment is sewn ethically in London, UK, and made by expert sewing machinists, paid above a living wage. AYM is a member of 'Brighton Living Wage Organisation' which raises awareness of the importance of paying a living wage.

Packaging: All paper and card packaging, including boxes, swing tags, and box inserts, are produced using FSC® responsible paper and card. They can be biodegraded or recycled after use. The garment bags protect the product to stop damage during storage and transit. These bags use a D2W biodegradable material.
