At AYM we are passionate about making clothes that look good, feel good and do good. In order to achieve clothing that does good, we have committed to creating clothing that has a positive sustainable impact within its' supply chain as well as in its' useful life. Our fabric is a crucial part of our sustainability commitment and we must choose wisely.

We have a few fabric options that we will explore below. Each of them have been chosen for specific traits that make them beneficial in the application of that design.

ITY Fabric ♻️

Our ITY fabric is recycled using post consumer plastic goods. This fabric is GRS certified. This means that the third party, independant governing body Global Recycled Standard have qualitifed this fabric as applicable within their recycled standards.

This fabric is made in the U.K.

Alie visits the mill where our fabric is made. This machine contains hundreds of thread spools that feed into this machine that knit the fabric together. Our ITY fabric is created using a knit technique where by the yarns are twisted, this creates a soft and stretchy finish.

Our fabric is dyed in the same UK location, keeping the carbon costs down between these steps in the supply chain.
