  There is an good amount of stretch to the fabric, and a lace-up waist to allow for more flexibility in sizing.

Bamboo is durable, breathable, and anti-bacterial due to the bio-agent called Bamboo Kun, which is hypoallergenic, silky, and soft. The elastane is added to this fibre provides stretch for comfort and flexibility of wear.

Bamboo fabric is a natural fibre derived from rapidly renewable and biodegradable bamboo plants. Ensuring we are using Organic-certified bamboo protects the environment that the bamboo is grown within. Okeo-Tex ensures safe extraction free from chemicals during the process, where the bamboo fibres are removed from the plants stem.

For the most sustainable care, we recommend washing as little as possible. Use a handwashing process wherever you can, as this doesn’t rely on washing machines and dryers that use lots of power. It is also a gentler process, allowing the garment to last longer. We recommend opting for eco-friendly washing detergents.

The Belle Maxi Skirt is made ethically by our expert sewing machinists, who are passionate about creating high quality clothing that will last.

Fabric: Global Recycled Standard certified fabric. Milled and dyed in the UK. The fabric mill is located within an hour of our garment makers, creating a localised supply chain through the production process.

People: the garment is sewn ethically in London, UK, and made by expert sewing machinists, paid above a living wage. AYM is a member of 'Brighton Living Wage Organisation' which raises awareness of the importance of paying a living wage.

Packaging: All paper and card packaging, including boxes, swing tags, and box inserts, are produced using FSC® responsible paper and card. They can be biodegraded or recycled after use. The garment bags protect the product to stop damage during storage and transit. These bags use a D2W biodegradable material.
